By Bud Shaver, Albuquerque, New Mexico- Due to the increasing number of abortion facilities in Albuquerque, the body of Christ must rise to the occasion to pray and minister to women seeking abortions at these new locations. In response to this, Abortion Free New Mexico is expanding our prayer initiative, “No Sidewalk Without the Savior” to include Alamo Women’s abortion clinic every Saturday!
Abortion Free New Mexico cares for every woman seeking an abortion, we sympathize with them in their dire situation and we value their pre-born children who are worthy of life outside the womb. Therefore, we must increase our prayerful presence at these places of death, but we can’t do it alone and that’s why we’re asking for your help to fill the Saturday prayer slots. The abortion bound women traveling here from out of state visually need to see that the people of New Mexico are present for them, are praying for them, and willing to help them. Every woman considering an abortion, no matter how far she has travelled, deserves to know that she has positive alternatives to abortion, stated Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico.” In addition to Saturday’s at the Alamo Women’s abortion clinic, Abortion Free New Mexico has a vibrant community of volunteers that faithfully pray at the UNM Center for Reproductive Health abortion facility on Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. There are still open hours for those who do have availability during the week to pray.
No Sidewalk Without The Savior,” is a ministry effort of Abortion Free New Mexico. We believe in the power of prayer to change hearts and minds, as we reflect the love of Jesus by extending grace and truth, at our city’s darkest and most hopeless places, abortion facilities. When two or more of God’s people gather for prayer, Our Savior is present and is able to light up the darkness and bring hope. Will you join us in shining the light of Christ in our city? Just one hour of your time can save a baby’s life." Take Action to Stop Chemical Abortions- Saturday’s 2PM-3PM at Two Locations: Albuquerque & Rio Rancho (February 4th CVS Protest, Albuquerque) WHY PROTEST? Walgreens and CVS pharmacies are now dispensing the chemical abortion drug- Mifepristone. Mifepristone is the first of the two pills used in a chemical abortion. The drug works by cutting off nutrients necessary for a fetus to continue developing. The second drug, misoprostol, is taken 24 to 48 hours later and induces contractions that expel the dead unborn child. Join one of two local Protests!

TAKE ACTION: 1. Here’s the call to action– If you purchase your prescriptions at CVS or Walgreens—TELL your local pharmacy that you are no longer patronizing the store and tell them why. You can make a copy of one of the articles below—see links—and give the pharmacy manager a copy of the article. And of course URGE that the particular pharmacy make a decision to NOT be one of the stores that WILL dispense the killer drugs. Links to Articles:

By Bud Shaver, Albuquerque, New Mexico- Abortion Free New Mexico has confirmed that the notorious Southwestern Women's Options abortion facility is no longer performing third trimester abortions. Citing staff shortages and overwhelming clientele from out of state, they are now referring to other abortion facilities in Colorado, Maryland and Washington D.C. Southwestern Women's Options is the abortion facility where the late Carmen Landau specialized in providing third trimester abortions. Her sudden death is presumably in part the reason for this abrupt change. Southwestern Women's Options is, however, still offering abortion pills in clinic, and by mail, as well as first and second trimester abortions through 23.6 weeks of pregnancy. This means that Albuquerque currently has two abortion facilities that offer abortions up to six months of pregnancy, Southwestern Women's Options and the University of New Mexico Center for Reproductive Health. Tara Shaver, spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico issued the following statement, Since 2010 Abortion Free New Mexico has worked to see the day when Curtis Boyd and Southwestern Women's Options would no longer give New Mexico the reputation of being the late-term abortion capital of the nation. After years of public exposure, relentless pressure and lots of prayer, that day has finally come. This is a small victory, especially for third trimester babies, that Southwestern Women's Options is no longer equipped to kill. Every abortion is a tragedy because it takes a human life but late-term abortions are particularly disturbing because they are performed on viable babies in the latest stages of pregnancy. We hope and pray that this is just the beginning of the end of all abortions in our state and we will keep fighting to be a voice for unborn children and to help women choose life with compassionate life affirming resources." By Bud Shaver, Albuquerque, New Mexico- In the wake of Roe vs. Wade being overturned, the Satanic Temple is the latest group that has expressed their intention to expand abortion services in New Mexico. For its new facility, the temple said anyone in New Mexico seeking to perform its abortion ritual will be able to receive online medical services free of charge. Patients undergo a screening and virtual appointment before having their prescriptions sent to the clinic’s pharmacy partner, who will mail the medications in a discreet package, it said. Since Roe vs. Wade was overturned on June 24, 2022, two abortion facilities have set up shop in New Mexico, one in Las Cruces and one in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This brings the total number of active abortion facilities in New Mexico to nine with at least four others (including (1) the "virtual" Satanic Temple clinic and (2) a $10 million dollar facility pledged by New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham) expressing the desire to provide abortions in New Mexico.
Whole Woman’s Health is grateful to announce that we have purchased a building and we will soon offer a full range of abortion and sexual health care in New Mexico."
Valley Abortion Group will be the first 100% employee-owned, majority-BIPOC, women- and nonbinary-led abortion care facility in the US. We are a group of practitioners who are local to New Mexico, who have worked as a team for years. We provide expert, compassionate abortion care at all gestational ages." Tara Shaver, spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico issued the following statement, The Satanic Temple is, unfortunately, the latest group to capitalize on New Mexico's abortion extremism. Satanists, extreme feminists and progressive Democrats are opening our state to the worst elements of society. Not only is New Mexico a destination for abortion tourism, it is now the destination for 'religious abortion rituals'. It's a sobering reality that the leaders of this state, who continue to push their radical pro-abortion agenda upon the people, have made an alliance with sinister forces.
