An interview with Tara Shaver from Abortion Free New Mexico speaking about the connection between abortion and human trafficking. She also offered some options for young pregnant girls.
Albuquerque, New Mexico- Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico joined Becky Harada of Beyond Borders Ministries to discuss the connection between abortion and human trafficking. In this interview Tara is asked how she would dialogue with a woman at an abortion clinic suspected of being a victim of human trafficking. They also discuss how the abortion pill may be exploited by human traffickers as it potentially removes the human contact between sex trafficked women and their providers. Tara also shares some of the local pro-life resources readily available to young pregnant moms.

By Bud Shaver Albuquerque, New Mexico- This Saturday, July 30th from 1-3pm Abortion Free New Mexico is hosting a Sidewalk Counseling Training to better equip our friends and volunteers in this post Roe New Mexico. The pro-life community has an amazing opportunity to stand for life in so many ways and we must know how to approach an abortion determined woman and point her in the direction of life saving resources. At this training CareNet representatives will share how they assist pregnant women that come through their doors. You're invited, so please don't miss it and join us for an informative time of fellowship. SIDEWALK COUNSELING TRAINING
Don Blythe from At The Well Ministries has over 40 years of experience of sidewalk counseling outside of California's abortion centers. He will be sharing his experience and expertise with us. Just this week he sent out this encouraging email update: NO SIDEWALK WITHOUT THE SAVIOR
If you have not signed up to be a part of our No Sidewalk Without the Savior prayer vigil at the UNM late term abortion center please do so HERE. Unfortunately, due to our state's leadership, New Mexico has become more of an abortion magnet than ever before but YOU can make a difference by getting involved. Volunteers are needed for the month of August and one hour of prayer in person on the sidewalk brings light and hope to an otherwise dark place in our city. By Bud Shaver Albuquerque, New Mexico- Abortion Free New Mexico believes in the power of prayer to change hearts, minds and transform our culture! This is why we launched No Sidewalk Without the Savior in April of this year. Our goal is to have an unbroken chain of public prayer, on location, every hour that the UNM late-term abortion facility is open. This is the most basic thing we as the pro-life community can do. We get to pray at our city's most darkest location and make ourselves visible to our community and available for women seeking abortions. "Now more than ever, we need to pray collectively, publicly, and strategically. Our presence has the ability to reform The University of New Mexico - UNM so that they get out of the abortion business!" Bud Shaver, Abortion Free New Mexico It is now more important than ever to get involved. Abortion Free New Mexico invites YOU to sign up for the month of August and to pray for one hour a week. Our volunteers have shared with us what the Lord is doing in and through them during this time of prayer. Some have shared that they are full of so much joy while standing for such a worthy cause.
